Nine Months Old
It’s the ninth of the month and time again to celebrate Claire’s “birthday.” I find it hard to believe that nine months have passed since Claire joined our family, sometimes it seems as if she was just born and other days it’s hard to imagine what life was like without her. 9 months of pregnancy seemed to take forever, how quickly time moves once a … Continue reading Nine Months Old
My Papoose
Oh how we love our Ergo! I’m thinking a trip to the washing machine is needed for this week, but I’m petrified it will lose some of it’s “magic.”Claire spends hours each day happily “up up Mommy’s back” which is great since I have my hands free to do other things (like blog, wink wink). On the other hand, she’s been cutting her teeth on … Continue reading My Papoose
Baby’s First Brew?
Here are the previously mentioned photos from the company picnic. Did Claire enjoy her first brew? You’ll have to ask Daddy and the photographer, Mommy wasn’t around for this one. Continue reading Baby’s First Brew?
Claire’s Teeth!
Tooth number one is out and through the gum. I managed to snap a few pictures to show it off. The tooth’s partner seems to be near poking through too, I can see a gap in her gum where it’s starting to come up. How exciting! Aside from Claire’s teeth, not much else is new. Claire’s still enjoying new foods (mangoes, blueberries…and an accidental sampling … Continue reading Claire’s Teeth!
In Praise of the Humble Avocado
Oh Happy Day, I have found something Claire is super enthusiastic about eating! Here are some sweet pictures of her chowing down on an avocado. In addition to being loaded with tons of good fats – it comes with its own serving container! Although I don’t have any dishes to wash it seems someone needs there hair washed, oh well. I was a bit skeptical … Continue reading In Praise of the Humble Avocado
Cave Cricket Chow Down
Poor Claire, she got her first taste of insect protein tonight (at least we believe she did). Lil’ crawler was hanging out on the floor and snacking on what Dan and I thought were some leftover “O’s.” She crawled over to her Daddy for a snuggle and Dan said, “what’s that on her chin?” It was half a cave cricket leg…ewwww. Have the shivers? Here’s … Continue reading Cave Cricket Chow Down
Persistence Pays Off
Kim and I embarked on quite the adventure today – taking all four kids to the lake for a swim and a jaunt at the playground. After packing (which took ages because of the babies) we arrived at the beach. Nicholas was getting antsy and desperate to swim…and of course it started to rain. Did I mention that we had unpacked the car before it … Continue reading Persistence Pays Off
